Privacy Policy

When you use any file tool on FixFile.online, your file is processed entirely inside your own web browser using JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. We never see, store, log, or share the contents of any file you work with. Once you close or refresh the tab, the file is gone completely.

This is guaranteed by how the tools are built: they use browser APIs (the File API, WebAssembly, Canvas API, and the Web Audio API) to read and process files locally. There is no server-side processing code because there is no server involved at any stage of file handling.

Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records basic, anonymous technical data when your browser loads a page:

• Approximate IP address and country (not stored long-term)
• Browser type and operating system
• Page visited and timestamp
• Referring URL (the page you came from)

This data is anonymous, never linked to you personally, and used only to keep the site running reliably. It is automatically discarded after 90 days.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — for example, which tools are most popular, how long pages take to load, and which countries our visitors come from. GA4 collects the following data:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Approximate geographic location (city/country level only)
• Browser, operating system, and device type
• Referring website or search query
• Events (e.g. button clicks, downloads)

GA4 does not receive any information about the files you open or process. All data is sent to Google and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of GA4 tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

FixFile.online is free because it displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use advertising cookies to show you ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. These cookies are set by Google, not by us.

Ad scripts run in a separate context from the file tools and have zero access to any file you open on this site. To opt out of personalised ads, visit Google Ad Settings.

We use exactly two client-side storage mechanisms:

• localStorage ("theme"): Stores your light/dark mode preference. Contains no personal data. Never sent to any server.
• Google cookies: Set by Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense as described above.

We do not use any proprietary session cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting techniques.

Because we hold zero personal file data on our servers, your right to data erasure is already satisfied by default — there is nothing stored about you or your files to delete or hand over.

For the minimal server logs described in Section 2, you may request deletion at any time by emailing casareply@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. We do not sell, trade, or rent personal data to any third party. Ever.

Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA) have additional rights including the right to access, correct, and port your data. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

FixFile.online does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has submitted personal data through this site, please contact us at casareply@gmail.com and we will remove it promptly.

If we update this policy in a material way, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the new policy. For significant changes, we recommend revisiting this page periodically.
